The Renault Laguna Coupe Monaco GP Special Edition
We were going to report that Renault were releasing the Laguna Coupe Monaco GP Special Edition a week or so ago, but we actually thought it was a France-only model. Not that that is necessarily a reason not to run a story, but a France-only car – from a not exactly top-selling model – from a French car maker maker meant that the story would probably have been of interest to a limited number. But Renault have decided that the slightly odd looking Renault Laguna Coupe will be available as the Monaco GP Special Edition this side of the Channel as well, so best we give you the gen.
McLaren Automotive has today announced the launch of the McLaren Special Operations division, which will be responsible for the delivery of bespoke projects for McLaren sports cars. The division celebrated its launch with an example of the new MP4-12C, finished in Volcano Orange with a number of bespoke carbon upgrades, at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Bespoke designs featuring on the vehicle are diamond cut finish wheels with gloss black inners, MP4-12C branded carbon sill panels, a carbon steering wheel, front wheelarch louvres and carbon fiber engine cover vents, rear deck vent and wiper system cover.
David Hilton, Camilo Pardo and Laurent Nivalle have collaborated on an exhibition that brings together the worlds of automotive design, art and photography. 'ART FAIR meets Cars and Glamour: Sexy from the rear-view' opens at the Galerie am Brüsseler Platz in Cologne Germany on Saturday 27 October for a month.
